November Book of the Month

As autumn arrives at Plas-y-Fran it brings with it a mysterious new governess who seems intent on causing trouble for orphan Seren Rhys. Dangerous figures from a bewitched toy carousel stalk the house and, fearing the worst, Seren calls on the Clockwork Crow to help her. But can he reach her in time, and will her friend Tomas be able to escape the magical creatures threatening to ensnare him, led by the Velvet Fox?

An engaging tale of magical realism with a plucky orphan protagonist. Sequel to “The Clockwork Crow” but reads well as a stand alone novel too. Loved it!
