Author Kate Pankhurst Tuesday 24th April 2018

As part of this year’s Read Regional Campaign we are delighted to have children’s illustrator and author Kate Pankhurst at Huyton Library.

Kate will be talking about her books “Fantastically Great Women who Changed the World” and “Great Women who Changed History” which feature non-fiction stories of female achievement. Coming in the centenary year of Women’s Suffrage, Kate’s visit couldn’t be more timely. Plus, she is a distant relation to Emmeline Pankhurst.

Kate will be at Huyton Library on Tuesday 24th April from 1.30 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. If you would like to bring a class along to the event then please contact Pauline Threlfall on 443 4285 or Gerry Williams on 443 5001.
